Talent: The passion paradox

Corporations consider talent (the humans) as asset and collateral. Looking at the passion paradox in the recruitment/ motivation/ engagement tango of today's labor market, I wonder if approaching talent management for corporations in a curatorial fashion inspiring innovation, imagination and individuality would result in longer career runways, lower incidence of burnout, more robust corporate profits and a happier more loyal workforce?

For the beginning of my career in the arts sector, talent was clearly defined as the innate and unique artistry belonging to an individual- honed by decades of relentless pursuit of mastery within the historical context of thousands of years of tradition. For all the discussion of AI this year, let us not forget the human talent driving the technology.
